Brief demos of LegalAI platforms from Hong Kong Lawtech startups on various legal use cases such as Hong Kong law legal research, contract review, patent analysis, contract creation etc.
Speakers:
Jack Shing is founder of D-Engraver Limited, and is an entrepreneur focussed on blockchain and generative AI, including its new lawintellichain product for the legal profession. (Remarks: Jack was absent at the last minute due to illness).
Ron Yu is director and co-founder of Makebell Ltd., which specializes in building AI agents for professional applications. Trained as a lawyer, he also teaches postgraduate classes in patent law at CityU and Regtech at CUHK.
Moderator: Brian Tang, Principal Professional Practitioner & Founding Executive Director, LITE Lab@HKU, The University of Hong Kong. Brian is also co-chair of the Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation & Technology Association and is a member of the Department of Justice’s Consutlation Group on Lawtech Development.
