Hong (June) Bao is a Ph.D. student at HKU Faculty of Law. She earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law, Mfin from MIT Sloan School of Management and B.A. in economics from Peking University. Before joining HKU, she worked as a lecturer at Peking University School of Transnational Law for 2 years. She also worked for Linklaters Hong Kong office as a U.S. Associate and Kuaishou as a strategy BP before coming back to academia. Her primary supervisor of her PhD study is Professor Benjamin Chen, and co-supervisor is Professor Sida Liu. Her current research focuses on Empirical Legal Study, Law and Economics, and Intellectual Property Law.
